Notes: $14+ for a three-egg omelet is greedy. All of their food is overpriced. Sandwiches are mediocre. Edit: Their non-ethanol gas is also insanely overpriced at $5.15/gal, while other gas stations sell the same grade at $3.70-4.00/gal at the moment. The owner is probably going to comment something on how the food and gas they pay for are expensive and that's why their prices are high. I'm going to say, other places pay the same while still keeping their prices acceptable. Davis General's clientele has changed over the years, from mid-tennessee blue collar to some wealthy Californians, and ownership is doing everything possible to capitalize on that. Their prices are inflated beyond reason, which is the definition of 'greedy'. The only thing special about their food is that you don't get much of it. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.
